Frequently Asked Questions

The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is a deposit of 30% of the amount of the charter to cover additional expenses that will be generated during the trip (for example: fuel, overtime, bottle of cava, toys...). At the end of the charter, if there is any unused amount, it is returned to the client.

An APA of 30% of the total amount of the charter is paid at check-in. This way the client will not have to worry about any payments during the charter, as any expenses incurred (e.g. fuel, overtime, toys...) will be compensated from the APA. At the end of the charter, if there is any unused amount, it is returned to the client.

Payment of the APA is made at check-in, i.e. on the boat, at the start of the charter. It is also possible to pay in advance by bank transfer.

At the end of the charter, the captain checks the unused balance of the APA and the refund is made.

Normally the customer stays on the ship refuelling with the captain and is deducted from his APA afterwards, but if the customer decides to leave and the captain has to refuel for the customer, the amount will be deducted from his APA including a mark up of 5%.

Departure times are usually at 10:00 or 11:00, but the time could be discussed with the captain. Depending on the boarding time, it may involve some extra cost.
